Note: the Invacare SP2 chair needs the following program changes to be safe for use with Ability Drive®. The default driving speeds are too fast for use with Ability Drive® and the chair may not come to a stop in a short enough distance causing collision.
This article explains how to program both driving and seating modes in Ability Drive®. For the mode button to be turned on to access seating, the DLX-REM500 needs to be mounted next to the eye gaze device. Please contact us and we will remote into the eye gaze device and turn the mode button on. Phone (425)242-3902 or support@tolttechnologies.com
Note: the Invacare SP2 chair needs the following components installed in order to use Ability Drive®:
Dynamic Controls Part Number: DLX-REM500: LiNX Touch Screen Display, Invacare Part Number: 1602828
Dynamic Controls Part Number: DLX-IN500: LiNX Input Module, Invacare Part Number: 1067396
Dynamic Controls Part Number: GLM-BUS200-A: LiNX Bus Cable 2.00 Meters (6.5 FT)
