This article shows how to position the A13J with the Alea NXT eye-tracker.

As a general guide, position the eye-gaze device 20 to 24 inches in front of the client’s face, with the bottom of the device approximately 6 inches below their chin.


Take into consideration your client’s presentation and eyesight, adjusting the device according to their individual needs.


Step 1:

Connect the A13J to the mount and plug in the ADT USB cable. Adjust the mount at its different axes to get the device into approximate position. 


 

Step 2:

Open the positioning guide by clicking on the Home button in the IntelliGaze Operation Bar.



Step 3:

With the client seated in the power wheelchair, reference the positioning guide while making adjustments until their face appears centered and green.



Step 4:

You are now ready to calibrate the eye tracker.
