This article provides an overview of the 5 main components in the Ability Drive® system.
1. The ADT
The ADT is the Ability Drive® hardware interface. In combination with the app, the ADT connects the eye-gaze device to the power wheelchair and enables the user to drive using only their eyes. How to Install the ADT.
2. The App
The Ability Drive® app is available to download from https://www.tolt.tech/support.
3. A Compatible Eye-Gaze Device
An approved eye-gaze device is used to run the Ability Drive® app.
4. A Mount for the Eye-gaze Device
The eye-gaze device must be mounted to the power wheelchair.
5. A Compatible Power Wheelchair
Ability Drive® can be installed on a compatible power wheelchair with a 9-pin port for alternative controls.

Ability Drive® requires power-wheelchair programming which should only be done by an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP). Please contact your local DME for any programming related questions.
